SUMMARY
Located in the vibrant Atlanta Metro area, Trilith LIVE is designed to host concerts, rehearsals, live audience productions, conventions, corporate meetings, performing arts, tradeshows, exhibitions, special events, and so much more! Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,400-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck.
Trilith Live is seeking an accomplished venue professional to join the team as Box Office and Marketing Coordinator. The Box Office and Marketing Coordinator is the leader of the box office and ticket services, handles the day-to-day supervision of the ticketing team, maximizes ticket sales, ensures the highest standards of customer care, and supports the organization’s marketing and guest services efforts.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeps the mission, vision and values of Trilith Live at the forefront of decision making and action; builds strategic and collaborative relationships and interacts with others in a way that builds confidence and trust; provides excellent customer service by taking action to accomplish objectives, maintains high levels of work and productivity by generating innovative solutions to work situations.
- Utilize ticketing software to build events in the ticketing system, including seating manifests, price scaling, hold/kills, discounts, premium, and pre-sales.
- Act as the ticketing systems administrator for ticketing system and liaison between staff, promoters, presenters, and facility.
- Coordinate all event information between the promoter, facility personnel and the ticket company in a timely manner.
- Works with event promoters and appropriate personnel to establish ticket pricing and seating configuration.
- Maintains communication with ticketing software representatives for updates and/or revisions in computer operations.
- Monitors daily ticket sales for all upcoming events and communicates information to management staff and promoters.
- Prepare sales reports and daily accurate inventory of all tickets distributed and available for sale.
- Prepares and presents the final box office statement for settlement of each event.
- Provide box office services at all ticketed events.
- Assist with management and maintenance of Trilith Live website and social media platforms.
- Work with the sales and marketing department to set up various ticket discounts and promotions.
- Assist with outreach to within the community to grow ticket selling databases.
- Assist with posting/content for social media calendar.
- Assist with visual content for ticketing system and digital channels.
- Prepares and submits daily reports of Box Office related transactions.
- Responds to customer service requests and maintains a positive rapport with the ticket buying public.
- Supervises, instructs, and trains ticket sellers as to the proper selling procedures.
- Sells tickets as needed.
- Opens and or closes ticket windows as required.
- Provide superior customer service by phone, in person, and in fulfilling box office sales.
- Required to work irregular schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate business and client needs in the facility.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervise Part-Time ticket sellers; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Director of Finance, Assistant General Manager and General Manager, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business management, business administration or another related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible box office/ticketing experience, preferably with a sports facility, convention center, performing arts facility or other multi-purpose public assembly facility
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, graphic design programs, PowerPoint, and Internet software.
- Familiarity with ticketing software
- Experience in social media and website management preferred.
- Knowledge of the principles of administration related to facilities and services in the event management industry.
- Sound organizational, planning, and people skills.
