About the Opportunity 

As an HR Assistant, you will collaborate with our Human Resources team and be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks in the following categories:  

Recruiting and Interviewing  

  • Career fair scheduling and coordination 
  • Interview scheduling, coordination and greeting candidates 
  • Tracks status of candidates in UKG and internal database 
  • Timely candidate correspondence      
  • Full college recruiting life cycle for Georgia office 

Georgia Compliance 

  • Stays abreast of Georgia laws and regulations 
  • Proposes policy changes to HR manager to comply with Georgia Regulations 
  • Serves as main point of contact for all Georgia related policies 

Onboarding/Offboarding 

  • Conduct New Hire Orientation 
  • Partner with IT for new hire equipment 
  • Conducts Exit Interviews 
  • Recommends action items from survey results  

Safety 

  • Ensure office has proper PPE 
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of office and checkout spaces 
  • Roving asset management 
  • Annual meter calibration 
  • Monthly office safety inspections 
  • Schedule ongoing CPR/AED/BBP/First Aid recertifications 

Administrative Duties 

  • Shipping/receiving 
  • Scanning in packing slips 
  • Taking outbound shipments to UPS or scheduling pickup 
  • Ordering office supplies& services
  • Ordering snacks and meals as needed 
  • Office event coordination and support   
  • Corporate housing arrangements 
  • Checking and distributing mail  

Sales and Marketing

  •  Coordinate with marketing team in local promotional efforts (Social media post, media articles)
  •  Coordinating and setting up promotional events (Golf Tournaments, Exhibitions, etc.)

Partner with HR counterparts on departmental projects 

Provide support to HR Department  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related major. 
  • Well versed in Georgia Employment laws and regulations. 
  • Knowledge of basic Human Resources functions. 
  • Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects, with the aptitude to learn quickly. 
  • Basic of Microsoft Office 365 applications. 
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Skilled in collecting, analyzing, organizing and reporting information. 
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills. 
  • Strong team collaboration. 
  • Highly motivated to work independently and productively.  
  • Knowledge of UKG HCM System is desirable. 
  • Knowledge of PowerBI is desirable.
